Job summary

Alight Behavioral Therapy in Elizabethtown, NC is seeking a dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to provide one-on-one ABA therapy in clients' homes. You will implement treatment plans under supervision and help children on the autism spectrum develop essential skills in a supportive setting.

This role emphasizes collaboration with BCBA, families, and other therapists, meticulous data collection, and maintaining confidential records in line with HIPAA standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in psychology, special education, human services.
• Completion of an RBT training program and certification.
• Minimum 1 year experience working with children with autism, preferably in ABA.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for working with children, families, and professionals.
• Ability to travel to client homes and work in a flexible, dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Implement individualized ABA treatment plans under BCBA supervision.
• Work closely with families to build strong, supportive relationships.
• Collect and record data on child behavior and progress for program evaluation.
• Collaborate with BCBA, speech therapists, and occupational therapists to ensure comprehensive care.
• Maintain accurate records and reports with HIPAA compliance.
• Participate in ongoing training to stay current with ABA practices.
