Job summary

Illuminate is seeking a friendly Behavior Technician (RBT) to deliver in-home and community-based ABA therapy to children and adolescents with ASD. You’ll help teach communication, social, play, and daily living skills under supervision, in families’ homes and in their communities.

Ideal candidates have recent experience with children or developmental disabilities, are flexible across days/times, and comfortable driving to client homes. A valid smartphone for data capture is required.

Qualifications

• Recent experience working with children and/or individuals with developmental disabilities.
• Must maintain open and flexible availability across multiple days and times throughout the week, including daytime, after-school, and evening sessions.
• Must have personal transportation and be comfortable driving to client homes.
• Access and ability to use a smartphone for capturing client session data.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home and community-based ABA therapy.
• Track client progress during sessions.
• Be energetic and engaging with children while implementing behavior support plans.
• Ensure client safety and respond calmly to challenging behaviors.
• Complete documentation using electronic devices.
