Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• Current CNA/MA certification.
• CPR certification within 60 days of hire.
• 1 year of direct patient care experience in a health care facility.

Responsibilities

• Maintain electronic visual and auditory observation of patients with safety concerns (up to 10 patients).
• Verbally redirect patient over a digital 2-way audio device in the patient room.
• Immediately summons the nursing staff when the patient requires assistance.
• Actively hand off key patient information and behavioral status during shift changes.
• Escalate safety concerns to the clinical team at the earliest indication and engage resources as needed.
• Identify and report patient safety hazards and collaborate with nursing staff for resolution.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient information (HIPAA) and ensure accurate documentation throughout shifts.
