Job summary

Park Vista Senior Housing Management, LLC seeks an In-Charge Resident Assistant at Noel Manor Retirement Living in Verona, WI. This role leads shift operations, supports the care team, and ensures resident plans are followed with calm professionalism.

You will act as a primary contact, model teamwork, and oversee safety, documentation, and communications to leadership while maintaining confidentiality and compliance with policies.

Responsibilities

• Document healthcare services provided per policies and procedures
• Perform medication reminders or management per resident plan of care
• Provide resident services per plan of care and as needed
• Provide the Director of Nursing with information to update resident plans of care
• Respond promptly to all emergency calls
• Accompany and transport residents per plan of care
• Facilitate activities during evenings and weekends
• Serve meals during mealtimes as needed
• Perform wellness checks per plan of care
• Perform cleaning duties as assigned
• Walk the halls to monitor resident safety
• Fill in for other Resident Assistants as needed
• Complete incident reports for residents, staff, visitors, or self
• Contact management for emergencies as appropriate
• Answer phones promptly and courteously
• Participate in safety meetings, staff meetings, and in-services
• Use PPE and safety equipment
• Maintain confidentiality of residents and coworkers
• Comply with state regulations, OSHA standards, and company policies
• Serve as primary point of contact for the shift
• Act as role model with communication, problem-solving, professionalism, and resident-centered care
• Promote accountability, teamwork and positive work environment
• Maintain awareness of shift flow and assist with prioritizing resident needs
• Ensure accurate documentation and handoffs
• Communicate with on-call leadership about concerns
• Assist with securing staffing coverage and documenting coverage attempts
• Remain professional, calm, and solutions-oriented
• Assist with operational oversight and supplies coordination
• Support interdepartmental communication and collaboration
