In-Building Guest Teacher (School Year 2025–2026)

Location: Thornton, CO

Compensation: Daily Rate: $185, with full health, dental, and life insurance benefits based on a 40-hour workweek.

Summary

Provide classroom support on a full-time basis at a designated school within Adams 12 Five Star Schools. Assignments will be made daily based on school needs to deliver substitute teaching services.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Deliver instructional activities.
2. Create a positive educational climate for student learning.
3. Utilize various curriculum resources and technologies to enhance learning.
4. Manage student behavior using appropriate strategies.

Necessary Skills and Background

• Possess or be able to obtain a valid Colorado Educator License or a 1, 3, or 5-year substitute teaching license.
• Apply for a substitute teaching license through the Colorado Department of Education website.
