Job Summary

This position is responsible for enhancing athletic competition atmosphere for athletes and spectators by serving as the On‑Field Emcee and delivering an unforgettable fan experience. Must abide by Company Safety Program and Policies, while performing duties safely.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Hosts and emcees all in‑game promotions and fan engagement activities.
• Interacts with fans of all ages in fun, energetic and professional manner.
• Works closely with the promotions and production team to execute game scripts and timing.
• Always represents the Lincoln Saltdogs brand positively and enthusiastically.
• Assists with on‑field setup and breakdown of promotional activities as needed.
• Other duties may be assigned.

Education and/or Experience

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED);
• Previous experience as an emcee or entertainment announcer; or
• An equivalent combination of education, experience and training.

Certificates, Licenses

Must be insurable under the company’s insurance program.

Skills and Abilities

• Must have extensive knowledge of baseball to effectively engage fans.
• Able to commit to all 50 home games, including mid‑week games, nights, weekends, and possibly playoff games.
• Able to stand for long periods and move quickly through the ballpark.

Candidate is required to meet the above qualifications, task frequency and PPE requirements. Approval of pre‑employment reference & background checks, and post offer drug/alcohol testing with back screens (if required) are required as conditions of employment.
