Adjunct teaching faculty provide instruction aligned with the college's strategic goals and evaluate students' progress to facilitate achievement of their educational goals.
Require strong analytical skills, understanding of statistical process control and be familiar with inspection techniques.GD& T, automated systems to perform projects on CMM, Equator and Micro-Vu System. Be familiar with gauge, caliper, micrometer, Optical Comparator calibrations and quality control equipment. Able to teach manual machining (Lathes, Mills and Grinders) and basic M & G code programming.
2,000 hours of related work experience and a bachelor’s degree; or 2,000 hours of related work experience and a master's degree in the discipline or in a related discipline with at least 18 graduate hours in the discipline as indicated in the curriculum database. Certifications an advantage including Quality Auditor, Quality Engineer, Quality Improvement Associate, Six Sigma, Quality inspection, Auditing and testing experience.
