Job summary

Koniag Government Services is seeking an Operations Research Analyst in Mobile, AL. This full-time position requires expertise in scheduling and shipbuilding processes to support critical projects.

The ideal candidate will possess significant experience in project management methodologies and Earned Value Management, along with skills in Microsoft Project and analytical capabilities. They will work closely with the U.S. Coast Guard's Offshore Patrol Cutter project, conducting vital analyses and ensuring compliance with contract standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years' experience supporting project management and shipbuilding processes.
• Secret level security clearance required.
• Experience in Earned Value Management (EVM) desirable.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and conduct surveillance activities complying with EVMS guidelines.
• Analyze contractor performance and monitor schedules.
• Generate comprehensive reports on scheduling and progress.

Skills

Scheduling software proficiency (Primavera/MS Project)

Analytical capabilities

Knowledge of DCMA standards and ANSI-EIA 748 guidelines

Comprehensive knowledge of shipbuilding processes

Ability to produce EVM reports

Excellent written and oral communication skills

Problem-solving capabilities

Education

Bachelor's Degree in engineering, technical, or business-related field
