Porsche Penske Motorsport in Mooresville, NC seeks a qualified Systems Engineer to join the IMSA racing program. This role supports the electronic, data, control, and communication systems of the race cars, working with race engineering, IT, and other technical staff.

You will travel with the team to IMSA events, manage system configuration and maintenance at the shop and track, and help develop wiring, calibration, and high-voltage safety processes.

Competenze

• 2–3+ years in a systems/ data engineering role within high-performance motorsports.
• Experience programming, configuring, and troubleshooting data acquisition, control, and telemetry systems.
• CAN systems knowledge: sensor setup, configuration, and CAN decoding.
• Experience designing, repairing, and maintaining motorsport wiring looms and harnesses.
• Experience with race radio and intercom systems, including setup and troubleshooting.

• Develop, setup, and maintain data, control, and electronic systems in race cars.
• Configure, calibrate, and troubleshoot vehicle data acquisition, control, and telemetry systems.
• Support wiring loom layout, design, and documentation.
• Repair and maintain motorsport wiring looms and harnesses.
• Assist with high-voltage system training, safety, and certification.
