Job summary

PENN Entertainment, Inc. is seeking a cashier to provide friendly, accurate service at the point of sale. You will handle cash transactions, adhere to guest service standards, and support daily cash management and security procedures.

The role requires strong math skills, confidentiality, and clear communication with guests and coworkers. Prior cash handling experience is preferred, and a high school diploma or equivalent is expected.

Qualifications

• Must communicate effectively with guests and team members.
• Must be fluent and literate in English.
• Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism.
• Must have basic math skills, including the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide.
• Highly organized and detail oriented.
• 10-key (calculator) skills a plus.
• General cashiering background or prior money handling experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for performing varied cashier functions in a pleasant, efficient, and honest manner.
• Adheres to all departmental and property policies and procedures regarding guest service standards.
• Replenishes currency in cassettes as needed for all NRT machines.
• Initiates end-of-day drops on machines.
• Counts down bank at the beginning and end of each shift.
• Troubleshoots NRT machines when issues arise.
• Performs all other related and compatible duties as assigned.
• Maintains strict confidentiality in all company matters.
