Job summary

Gordon Food Service is offering a 12-week paid internship in its Home Office, providing mentorship, professional development, and networking opportunities. You will work on cross-functional projects in Imports & Commodities, building reports, automations, and supporting ERP initiatives to streamline workflows.

The program emphasizes hands-on experience with AI-enabled systems and real-world business impact, with opportunities to shadow roles across the organization and participate in mentorship

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a university pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Business/Data Analytics, Computer Science.
• Must be authorized to work in the US.
• Must have a 3.0 GPA or higher.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to analyze business processes and create tailored reports.
• Develop and maintain standardized operational reports to address recurring requirements.
• Support data management initiatives within BOS and assist with ERP transition and testing.
• Assist with functional testing and quality assurance for the new ERP platform.

Build Connections By:

• Working alongside our Imports & Commodities team that serves our customers, employees, and partners across North America and Canada.
• Collaborating with other Gordon Food Service interns and employees in the following areas: Communications Finance Accounting Human Resources IT Marketing & Merchandising Supply Chain Sales

Build a Career: In the Imports & Commodities department by:

• Collaborate directly with cross-functional stakeholders to analyze business processes and construct tailored reports and automation solutions, thereby streamlining workflows and replacing manual tracking methods from BOS.
• Develop and maintain standardized operational reports to address recurring requirements across the organization.
• Support data management initiatives within BOS, enabling the Operations team to prioritize strategic ERP development.
• Facilitate the transition and validation of existing reporting assets and automated processes to ensure uninterrupted functionality within the new ERP system.
• Assist with functional testing and quality assurance for the new ERP platform.
