Schedule: Monday - Friday 4:00 pm - 12:30 am or 1:00 pm - 9:30 pm
The Import Trade Compliance Specialist - FTZ is primarily responsible for coordinating & execution import compliance work required under Federal, State, Local and global laws. The Import Specialist will assist a variety of business areas in preparing necessary documentation and processes related to the monitorship and compliance generally; will prepare and maintain compliance reports related to import issues; will proactively identify and mitigate import compliance risks and exposures throughout DigiKey; will review and familiarize themselves with all tariff related processes and initiatives at DigiKey, identifying areas of potential investigation and improvement; work closely with Trade Compliance, Logistics, and Purchasing to identify opportunities for improved tariff recovery; work with Returns and Purchasing teams to ensure returned/scrapped tariff product is filed for drawback ; help create and then meet tariff recovery KPIs through continued assessment of internal processes; Development long‑term tariff plan for potential changes in government policy. This is not exclusively an essential onsite role, though may require some onsite attendance.

Compensation: The base pay range for this position is: $20.00 to $27.50 Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment‑based immigration sponsorship, now or in the future.
