Job summary

LeoForce is seeking an Import Specialist to manage end-to-end import operations for ocean and air freight. The role focuses on on-time delivery, accurate documentation, and compliance with CBP and FMC regulations across international shipments.

The candidate will coordinate with carriers, brokers, and internal teams, maintaining meticulous records and ensuring efficient, compliant imports. This Mid Level position offers competitive salary and benefits within a global freight environment.

Qualifications

  • Experience in ocean or air import operations or international freight forwarding preferred.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Proficient in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.

Responsibilities

  • Shipment Delivery on time per customer's request.
  • Coordinate full-cycle of ocean and air import shipments from origin country to final destinations
  • Prepare and review import documentation for Import customs clearance
  • Ensure compliance with U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), FMC, and other regulatory requirements
  • Communicate effectively with carriers, customs brokers, overseas agents, and internal departments
  • Track, trace, and monitor progress of shipments and deliveries to ensure timely processing
  • Issue delivery orders and coordinate final-mile delivery with trucking companies
  • Maintain accurate records and data entry in the internal system
