Job summary

TalentSource in Elkhart, IN is seeking an Import Sales and Operations Planner to lead demand planning, forecasting, inventory management and production scheduling in a manufacturing environment.

You will drive the S&OP cycle, coordinate with sales and procurement, and improve data accuracy, ERP/MRP initiatives, and delivery performance. The role requires a bachelor's degree in a related field, MES/ERP experience, and strong analytical and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business management or related field.
• Experience with ERP or materials management systems (Dynamics 365, Infor, AS400 preferred).
• Knowledge of MES and BOMs/MRP processes in manufacturing.
• Strong communication skills and ability to perform repetitive computer-based work.
• Familiarity with SQL, Excel formulas, and Power BI is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead demand planning, forecasting, and inventory control.
• Coordinate S&OP cycle and align demand with supply plans.
• Release work orders and purchase orders per MPS/MRP.
• Support ERP implementation and data quality initiatives.
• Analyze forecast vs actuals and monitor KPI trends.
• Communicate production changes and schedule conformance.
• Develop SOPs and operational plans.
• Collaborate with sales, procurement, and manufacturing teams.
