Sbhonline is seeking a detail-oriented Import Purchasing Assistant in Brooklyn, NY to support procurement and supply chain operations. The role involves coordinating with multiple departments, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring efficient inventory levels.

The ideal candidate will be organized, proactive, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include placing purchase orders, monitoring inventory, and assisting with vendor contracts.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in purchasing, procurement, or a related role preferred.
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Understanding of supply chain processes is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate with internal departments to assess and fulfill supply needs.
• Place purchase orders and follow up on delays or issues.
• Maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers.
• Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely replenishment.
• Evaluate vendor pricing and quality to determine best sourcing options.
