Job summary

STARK, a renowned maker of luxury carpets and rugs, seeks an Import Specialist to join our Imports Department. You will support purchasing and order management for direct-to-customer orders, coordinating fabrics, wallcoverings, trims, and other specialty products from mills both domestic and international.

The role serves as the primary liaison between Sales, customers, and mills, ensuring accurate order execution from inquiry through delivery.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in purchasing, import coordination, or related roles.
• Strong organization and multitasking abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with high accuracy.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary liaison between Sales and mills for DIR orders.
• Request stock availability and lead times from mills.
• Coordinate CFAs, strikes, and other samples.
• Enter and process purchase orders accurately.
• Maintain order activity records and provide status updates.
