Expeditors International is seeking a Finance/Payables professional in the greater Milwaukee area for an in-office role. You will manage payables, billing processes, and revenue recognition while supporting month-end close and policy compliance.

The position emphasizes accuracy, collaboration with the Accounting team, and ongoing improvement of billing workflows in a dynamic logistics environment.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Expeditors policies and procedures.
• Understanding of Expeditors products, services and systems.
• Knowledge of Expeditors financial policies and Accounting procedures.
• Stay informed of continuous industry updates provided by management for Accounting and Operational Updates.

• Draft Payables
• Centralized Ocean Payables
• Provisions/Journals
• Unbilled freight A/R
• Accounts Receivable RMT Application
• Revenue Recognition
• Eliminate waste/rework, Promote and utilize productivity tools, Be open to implementing new system changes and enhancements
• Timely and accurate billing
• Availability for end of month and first of month cut offs
• Support in all new business is transitioned correctly, with rate schedules and credit set up
• Support with quoting process as needed
• Align with Accounting team to understand and promote financial policies standards and procedures
