Meyer-Corp.-U is seeking an Import Compliance Manager to ensure CBP compliance across all import operations, focusing on HTS classification, bonded warehouse activities, and duty drawback recovery.

The role requires collaboration with procurement, finance, and legal, and involves managing customs brokers and freight forwarders, coordinating container shipments, and maintaining compliance documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in International Business, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in import compliance, customs brokerage, or international trade, with HTS classification.
• Experience with bonded warehouse operations and duty drawback.
• Familiarity with trade compliance software and ERP/TMS systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage the classification of imported products under HTS, ensuring accuracy across the catalog.
• Oversee end-to-end container import operations including booking, clearance, port coordination, and delivery to centers or warehouses.
• Serve as primary contact for customs brokers, freight forwarders, and carriers to resolve delays and discrepancies.
• Ensure CBP compliance, ISF requirements, and other federal import/export regulations.
• Maintain and audit import records, entry summaries, and classification rulings for CBP audits.
• Manage bonded warehouse operations including recordkeeping and withdrawal entries.
• Monitor tariff changes and assess impact on the business.
• Identify duty savings opportunities including FTAs, deferral, and duty drawback.
• Administer duty drawback program end-to-end and coordinate with providers.
