Job summary

Abbott Laboratories is seeking an Implementation Support Specialist (ISS) for field-based work across the territory of California, Nevada, Arizona, and Colorado, with 75% travel. You will support successful implementation and verification of our i-STAT system in hospitals and clinical settings.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in a related field (or associate with experience), 3–4 years in the field, and strong MS Office and Salesforce skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and execute Performance Verifications, End User Training, and Go Live Support within an implementation case.
• Update project notes and milestone dates in Summit, manage expense reporting, and other administrative tasks.
• Understand customer needs, build relationships with key stakeholders, and articulate benefits of point-of-care testing.
• Demonstrate thorough knowledge of product attributes and conduct product demonstrations.

Abbott Point of Care has an exciting opportunity for an Implementation Support Specialist (ISS).

The role is field-based, remote within the territory of California, Nevada, Arizona, and Colorado with 75% local travel.

The ISS will be a part of a dynamic field support service team responsible for driving the successful implementation and verification of our products within Hospitals within assigned geographical regions. Key responsibilities will include collaborating with lead IPMs, providing best-in-class execution of implementation activities and tasks to support the company’s portfolio of products, and engaging with key personnel to restructure customer processes to facilitate better patient care with the company’s products. You will continue Abbott’s 130+ year tradition of bringing new products and technologies to the world, creating more possibilities for more people at all stages of life.

WHAT YOU DO

• Implementation Support: Coordinate and execute Performance Verifications, End User Training, and Go Live Support within an implementation case.
• Administrative Tasks: Ensure all administrative tasks are completed promptly and accurately, including updating project notes and milestone dates in Summit, expense reporting, and other necessary items.
• Customer Relationship Management: Understand customer needs, build relationships with key stakeholders within accounts, and articulate the benefits of point-of-care testing.
• Product Knowledge: Demonstrate a thorough understanding of key product attributes and conduct product demonstrations.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE YOU’LL BRING

Required:

• Bachelor's degree- preferably in Medical Technology, Nursing, Respiratory Therapy, or a related field; Associate degree with relevant experience,
• 3 to 4 years of experience in the field.

The base pay for this position is $61,300.00 – $122,700.00. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
