The Implementation Specialist will be the crucial first point of contact between Optii and our new clients. The selected candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping their success and building strong, lasting partnerships. The selected candidate’s expertise will lay the groundwork for a positive client relationship, directly contributing to client retention and overall business growth.

Expected Salary Range: $70K to $85K based on experience.

The primary mission of the role will be to ensure our hotel clients seamlessly integrate and effectively utilize Optii's software.
This involves a blend of training, technical guidance, and operational understanding:
- Expert Trainer & Coach: The selected candidate will be the Optii product master! The selected candidate will deliver engaging, hands-on training sessions for hotel staff at all levels – from housekeeping attendants to general managers. The selected candidate will ensure every user feels confident and capable, often going above and beyond to support their learning journey.
- Operational Bridge Builder: Leverage real-world experience in hotel operations (Housekeeping, Front Office, Engineering) to truly understand client needs. The selected candidate will translate technical features into practical benefits, helping hotel teams adapt their processes to maximize Optii's potential.
- On-Site & Remote Go-Live Facilitator: Be the calm and reassuring presence during the critical go-live period. The selected candidate will guide clients through their first moments with Optii, providing empathy, patience, and expert problem-solving to ensure a smooth and successful launch.
- Collaborative Problem Solver: Work hand-in-hand with Optii's implementation managers and success managers. Remote or On-site, the selected candidate will collaborate directly with hotel teams to address unique challenges, exceed expectations, and guarantee a successful deployment.
- Global Road Warrior: Embrace frequent travel to client sites across the US and internationally. The selected candidate will be on the front lines, directly impacting operations in diverse hotel environments.
- Professional Communicator: Engage with clients warmly and professionally through all channels – phone, video calls, email, and in person – to answer questions, resolve issues, and provide ongoing support.
- Relationship Cultivator: Beyond implementation, the selected candidate will ensure new clients have an excellent and rewarding experience with Optii, building lasting relationships that enhance our reputation and lead to powerful testimonials.
- Meticulous Documenter: Accurately record all client interactions, training notes, and trip reports in Salesforce. Detailed documentation keeps the entire team informed and supports continuous client success.
- Product Advocate & Innovator: Actively collect feedback from clients on the ground. Insights into how hotels use Optii, coupled with participation in internal product planning forums, will directly contribute to the evolution and improvement of our core software.
What We're Looking For: Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will combine strong operational experience with a passion for technology and training. This role is perfect for someone with a background as a Front Office Manager, Director of Housekeeping, or a similar leadership role within a reputable hotel brand, who is ready to take on a dynamic, client-facing challenge.
Key Qualifications:
- Experience: 3-5 years of progressive leadership experience in hotel operations, specifically within roles such as Front Office Manager, Director of Housekeeping, or similar. Experience within well-known hotel brands is highly regarded.
- Education: A Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
- Operational Acumen: Deep understanding of hotel operations, particularly Housekeeping, Front Office, and ideally Engineering processes.
- Training & Communication: Proven ability to effectively train and coach diverse groups, coupled with exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Travel Readiness: Flexibility and ability to travel extensively (up to 50% domestically and internationally).
- Professional Demeanor: Well-groomed, outgoing, confident, warm, friendly, and assertively personable.
- Leadership Qualities: Outstanding levels of Drive, Ambition, and Integrity.
- Work Environment: Comfortable working autonomously in a remote environment, with a high degree of self-organization and resourcefulness.
- Technical Aptitude: High degree of numeracy and computer literacy, comfortable with various software applications.
- Location: Based in the United States (candidates in the Austin, TX area are preferred).
- Work Authorization: Must be eligible to work in the United States in accordance with USCIS requirements without sponsorship.
