Job summary

Prometheus Group in Raleigh seeks an Implementation Specialist to join our delivery team. You will configure, deploy, and optimize our enterprise software solutions, working with Project Managers and cross-functional teams to align with client needs.

You will lead hands-on implementation activities, including system configuration, data migration, testing, and customer training, ensuring client requirements are met accurately and efficiently.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in a relevant field.
• 0-2 years of experience in software implementation, technical consulting, or customer onboarding.
• Working knowledge of SaaS application configuration and administration.
• Experience using project management tools such as Jira, Asana, or Confluence.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong critical thinking skills
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work collaboratively across teams and communicate with clients in a professional, service-oriented manner.
• Attention to detail and ability to identify efficiencies in complex processes.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Managers in executing implementation plans and deliverables.
• Participate in kickoff, requirement reviews, and progress meetings.
• Maintain project documentation and track task progress.
• Coordinate with Product, Engineering, and Support to resolve issues and meet milestones.
• Configure software modules, workflows, user roles, permissions, and dashboards.
• Translate customer requirements into system settings and test configurations.
• Assist with user acceptance testing and go-live readiness.
• Perform data imports, transformations, and quality checks.
• Support API integrations and SSO testing.

Job Summary:

The Implementation Specialist supports the successful delivery of implementation projects by working closely with Project Managers and cross-functional teams to configure, deploy, and optimize our enterprise software solutions.

This role focuses on the hands-on execution of implementation activities, including system configuration, data migration, testing, and customer training, while ensuring that client requirements are met accurately and efficiently.

Implementation Specialists lead end-to-end client onboarding, designing scalable solutions that align with client needs. With a strong foundation in software implementation, they excel at problem-solving, cross-functional collaboration, and driving client success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work directly with Project Managers to execute implementation plans and deliverables.
• Participate in project kickoff, requirement reviews, and progress meetings.
• Maintain project documentation, track task progress, and communicate updates to the project team.
• Coordinate with Product, Engineering, and Support teams to resolve issues and meet milestones.

System Configuration & Deployment

• Configure software modules, workflows, user roles, permissions, and reporting dashboards.
• Translate customer requirements into accurate system settings and test configurations prior to deployment.
• Assist with user acceptance testing (UAT) and ensure system readiness for go-live.

Data Migration & Integration Support

• Perform or support data imports, transformations, and quality checks.
• Support integration testing for API connections, single sign-on, or third-party systems.

Customer Enablement & Support

• Assist Project Managers in delivering customer Functionality Demo sessions and onboarding materials.
• Develop or update documentation such as configuration guides, user manuals, and training resources.
• Provide post-Go-live hyper-care support and respond to configuration or user issues during transition.
• Contribute to process documentation, standard operating procedures, and reusable templates.
• Identify opportunities to improve implementation efficiency and consistency.

What you have

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, Management Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• 0-2 years of experience in software implementation, technical consulting, or customer onboarding.

What sets you apart

• Basic understanding of data management, SQL, and integrations (REST APIs and SAP RFC or BTP preferred).
• Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets for data validation and manipulation.
• Experience in enterprise asset management software environments (EAM, SAP, EHS, maintenance, etc.).
• Familiarity with agile development practices
• Proficiency of Spanish
• Self-motivated and adaptable to shifting priorities in a dynamic environment.
