Job summary

Affirm, Inc. is seeking an Implementation Support Specialist I to help implement our commerce solutions for merchant partners. You will act as the primary liaison during integration, collaborating with Engineering and Merchant Operations to resolve issues, optimize processes, and scale support.

Responsibilities include guiding merchants through marketing, accounting workflows, troubleshooting, and documenting technical steps. A strong communicator with 1–3 years in tech/ecommerce is ideal.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in Tech/eCommerce/SaaS or similar role.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Nice to have: knowledge of HTML, JavaScript, APIs.

Responsibilities

• Support the implementation of Affirms products for partner merchants.
• Serve as primary contact for partners' business and technical teams during integration.
• Troubleshoot account and integration issues and provide quick solutions.
• Develop detailed technical documentation and cross-functional workflows.
• Provide product feedback to Product and Engineering teams to improve features.

• The Operations team delivers seamless customer experiences and enables new product capabilities while ensuring operational excellence
• The team owns strategy, planning, technical execution, customer service, fraud operations, process design, quality, training, and program management. We drive efficiency, resolve issues quickly, and scale operations as the business grows. Our goal is to deliver seamless support while maintaining high standards and reducing risk
• As an Implementation Support Specialist I, you’ll combine your exceptional technical and communications skills to support the implementation of the Aff
• You will serve as a primary support contact for our partners’ business and technical teams throughout the integration process, while working cross-functionally with affirm’s Engineering and Merchant Operations teams to help provide clients with quick solutions, troubleshoot account issues, and build internal processes that scale
• Provide exemplary support to merchant partners on topics including: marketing best practices, accounting workflows, implementation guidance / troubleshooting
• Resolve technical integration issues related to partners’ ecommerce front-end platforms and back-end order management systems
• Identify and implement new operational processes to drive efficiency
• Develop detailed technical documentation
• Engage with internal stakeholders to define cross-functional workflows
• Provide product feedback from clients to the Product and Engineering teams to improve overall product performance and feature set
