Job summary

AMroute LLC in Memphis, TN is seeking an Associate Implementation Specialist to provide hands-on data center support, including hardware repair, parts replacement, and coordinating with field engineers. The role requires comfort with lifting 65 pounds, working on ladders, and strong customer communication.

You will handle tickets, troubleshooting, OS installation, and firmware updates to keep systems operational.

Qualifications

• Basic network experience is required and foundational understanding of networking concepts.
• Experience reading Linux logs is required to troubleshoot and diagnose issues.
• Linux command line interface (CLI) familiarity is essential for day-to-day tasks.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day data center operational support.
• Escort and coordinate with dispatched field engineers.
• Manage parts shipping, receiving, and inventory.
• Maintain and update environment documentation (serial numbers, elevations, runbooks, etc.).
• Coordinate with colocation teams for power, cooling, and facility maintenance activities.
• Execute customer-directed system and version updates.
• Proactively monitor servers and notify customers of issues.
• Open and manage service requests; triage and coordinate break/fix activities with Dell support.
• Perform troubleshooting, log collection, and follow vendor-recommended resolutions.
• Support firmware upgrades and hardware break/fix activities.
• Handle parts replacement and hardware deployment.
• Perform OS installation, GPU configuration, and testing.
• Conduct system testing and validation to ensure operational readiness.
• Handle random or urgent issues as they arise, serving as flexible escalation and coordination point.

Role: Associate Implementation Specialist

Citizenship: US Citizen or Green Card candidates

Duration: 1440 hours

Number of Openings: 1

Location: Memphis, TN (100% onsite)

Resource needs to be comfortable on the HW repair side. As some of the role may be providing OSE/FSE support, they need to be experienced having their hands inside the server, replacing parts. They need to have enough experience, where they are confident in their skills to support and add new skills as needed. Prior Dell FSE experience a plus.
