Job summary

Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks a Research Project Manager to support implementation science activities and manage complex projects in collaboration with internal and external investigators. The role includes triaging consultation requests, coordinating tailored consultation plans, and supporting grant writing and manuscript preparation.

The position also involves day-to-day management of projects, IRB submissions, data management, and potential co-authorship

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required with 3–5 years of related experience; Master’s degree preferred.
• 3–5 years of research experience preferred.
• Research, program development experience.
• Skills in implementation science or health services research.
• Strong interpersonal collaboration and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manages project/program activities and implements protocols; develops, implements and manages work plans and time-frames to ensure project goals; communicates project activities for clear coordination.
• Supervises assigned laboratory and/or support personnel; delegates and coordinates tasks based on developed plans.
• Provide technical leadership and consultation related to project/grant proposals/manuscripts/animal protocol development; advises PI regarding project status.
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
