Job summary

Guardian HR conducts UKG Ready implementations for national clients entirely remote. You will lead onboarding, manage timelines, and coordinate internal resources while performing hands‑on configuration across Payroll, TLM, and HR modules.

The ideal candidate combines technical UKG setup with executive‑level client communication, in a Pacific Time schedule. 5+ years of implementation experience and strong payroll domain knowledge are required.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of direct experience implementing the UKG Ready suite (Payroll, TLM, HR).
  • Proven ability to lead multiple client implementations concurrently.
  • Strong understanding of payroll processing principles and multi‑module configurations.
  • Excellent client communication and relationship management in a remote setting.

Location Requirement:

100% Remote. You must be able to work on a Pacific Time schedule (Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. PST). Candidates based in California are preferred.

Requirements

What You'll Do:

As an Implementation Project Manager for Guardian HR, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional client onboarding experiences through the successful implementation of the UKG Ready platform. You will serve as the primary point of contact for new clients, develop trusted client relationships, manage project timelines, coordinate internal implementation resources, and perform hands‑on configuration and implementation of all UKG Ready modules. This role uniquely combines strategic project leadership with day‑to‑day hands‑on implementation and configuration work.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead Client Onboarding: Serve as the primary, high touch point of contact for new clients throughout the onboarding and implementation lifecycle.
  • Manage Project Timelines: Drive project schedules, manage milestones, and coordinate internal and external resources to ensure on‑time execution across multiple concurrent implementations.
  • Hands‑On UKG Configuration: Perform full hands‑on setup, configuration, and testing across the entire UKG Ready suite (Payroll, Time & Labor Management/TLM, and HR).
  • Provide Strategic Guidance & Solutions: Leverage deep analytical and problem‑solving skills to address client‑specific workflows, payroll requirements, and technical hurdles.
  • Deliver Clear Presentations: Facilitate client kickoff meetings, project status calls, and technical demonstrations with clarity and professionalism.
  • Collaborate Internally & Locally: Partner closely with internal teams and implementation leadership to streamline project workflows and ensure a seamless client experience.
  • Support Process Optimization: Embrace modern AI tools and automated workflows to continuously improve project delivery and implementation efficiency.

Remote Work Requirements:

To ensure success and protect client confidentiality, you must have:

Summary

Supervision & Training:

You will report directly to and receive supervision from our Director of Implementation.

  • Compensation & Bonuses: $95,000 – $105,000 per year, plus eligibility for department bonuses.
