• Comfortable in an early-stage startup with limited structure.
• Experience training customers on new software workflows.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher required.

The Role

We’re working with a fast-growing seed-stage AI startup transforming how accounting firms manage bookkeeping and tax workflows. Following rapid customer growth, they’re looking for a hands-on Implementation Manager to own customer implementations and help build the processes needed to scale.

You’ll work directly with accounting firms from initial discovery through configuration, onboarding and successful launch. This is a hands‑on role: you’ll understand customer workflows, configure the product around their requirements, troubleshoot implementation issues, train users and work closely with Product and Engineering to resolve technical problems.

This is an early-stage environment without a large implementation organisation or established playbook. You’ll be expected to independently drive implementations forward, solve problems and create repeatable processes from scratch. We’re particularly interested in people who have implemented accounting, ERP, bookkeeping, tax or closely related financial software.

What We’re Looking For

• Strong customer-facing skills and experience owning implementation relationships directly
• Experience gathering requirements and translating customer workflows into software configurations
• Evidence of delivering successful implementation outcomes, not simply coordinating projects
• Experience building or significantly improving repeatable onboarding or implementation processes
• Comfortable working hands‑on in an early‑stage startup environment with limited existing structure
• Experience training customers or end users on new software and workflows
• Bachelor’s degree or higher
• Hybrid working, 3–4 days per week in the San Francisco office
