Job summary

Career Systems Development Corporation (Job Corps) seeks a Security Supervisor to oversee Safety and Security operations at the San Jose center. You’ll supervise daily activities, enforce policies, and ensure a safe environment for students, staff, and property.

The role requires strong communication, investigative knowledge, and the ability to obtain CPR/First Aid certification. A valid state driver’s license is needed, with training and certifications pursued within 90 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Minimum: High school graduate or equivalent.
• Two years work-related experience.
• Preferred: Associates or bachelor’s in criminal justice; safety certifications.
• Knowledge of investigative techniques and law enforcement procedures.

Responsibilities

• Enforce laws, rules, and policies for Safety and Security.
• Supervise day-to-day operations to ensure safety of students and staff.
• Screen staff, students, and visitors and report incidents promptly.
• Maintain confidentiality and document case notes and reports.
• Escort students as needed and conduct security checks.
