Job summary

BBBSEMO is seeking an Upward Mentoring Manager to support youth through the Roadmap and Theory of Change framework. This part-time role focuses on mentorship, data collection, and community engagement to drive measurable growth and success.

The position requires flexible hours including evenings and weekends, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to work in schools and community settings. A bachelor’s degree is preferred with 4+ years of related experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum 4 years related experience.
• Knowledge of K-12 school and resource landscape.
• Knowledge of customer service principles and practices.
• Strong planning and organization skill.
• Excellent communication skills, including writing and proof-reading.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and work with a variety of staff.

Responsibilities

• Maintain an active caseload of up to 10 youth and provide weekly mentoring, 2+ hours per week.
• Check in with parents monthly and complete home visits as needed.
• Plan and lead group mentoring meetings and activities.
• Set youth-led goals and track progress toward attainment.
• Coordinate experiences with community champions and the Program Director.
• Document contacts, challenges, and outcomes in MatchForce.
• Participate in weekly team meetings and complete trainings related toEvaluation, data entry, and confidentiality.
• Collect and enter key youth data and administer surveys on schedule.
• Ensure confidentiality and secure handling of youth information.
• Track response rates and improve data completeness.
