Qualifications

• Enrolled in the Child Care Division Central Background Registry.
• Proof of enrollment required.
• Meet Preschool Teacher requirements per local standards.
• X hours of qualifying teaching experience as specified: 750 hours in a Certified Child Care Center or 1,500 hours in Registered/Certified Family child care.

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning and implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans.
• Provide nurturing, positive relationships with children and families.
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized classrooms.
• Communicate with families and supervisor about child progress.
• Follow YMCA policies, safety, and sanitation protocols.
• Attend staff meetings, trainings, and family nights.
