Job summary

Mid-Ohio Food Collective is seeking an Inventory Specialist for our Grove City warehouse. You will support accurate receiving, storage, inspection, and distribution of food products to keep orders moving safely and on time.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading, quality verification, outbound load prep, and maintaining accurate data in the WMS while following strict food safety procedures. Teamwork and independent work are both essential in this role.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED and Food Safety Certification.
• At least 1 year of fast-paced warehouse experience.
• Forklift operation (propane & electric); electric hand jack (4ft & 8ft).
• Knowledge of warehouse machinery/operations and WMS proficiency.
• Quality control knowledge, strong math skills, and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Load/unload and store product in the Grove City warehouse.
• Verify quality and prepare outbound loads with bills of lading, seal numbers, tagging, and shrink-wrapping.
• Maintain WMS locations and product data; apply first-in-first-expired practices.
• Replenish pick locations and assist with cycle counts.
• Follow food safety and warehouse safety procedures.

Role Summary

As an Inventory Specialist, you will support accurate receiving, storage, inspection, and distribution of food products in our Grove City warehouse. This role exists to protect product integrity, maintain inventory accuracy, and keep outbound orders moving safely and on time.

Key responsibilities include loading/unloading and storing product, verifying quality, preparing outbound loads (including bills of lading, seal numbers, tagging, shrink-wrapping), maintaining WMS locations and product data, using first-in-first-expired practices, replenishing pick locations, assisting with cycle counts, and following food safety and warehouse safety procedures.
