Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC is seeking a Utility Forester Work Planner—Non Union for the PSE program. The role focuses on planning, scheduling, reporting, and project management of vegetation management programs along rights-of-way.

The position requires inspecting sites, developing bid maps, coordinating with landowners and contractors, and ensuring safety and regulatory compliance. A valid driver's license is required and ISA certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to identify local trees and vegetation and their growth rates.
• Able to operate a company vehicle and gas card safely.
• Working knowledge of MS Office and ability to learn other software.

Responsibilities

• Inspect rights-of-way to assess vegetation conditions and determine maintenance activities.
• Develop bid package maps and work manifests.
• Research easements, land rights, and restrictions.
• Meet with landowners to explain vegetation management work.
• Mark work in the field and respond to public concerns about the work.
• Inspect contractor work for compliance with specifications.
• Manage contractors during storm restoration operations.
