Qualifications

• Active Speech-Language Pathologist license required.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required.
• Experience in school settings preferred.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Comfortable working with students of varying ages and abilities.
• Ability to travel throughout the county as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct speech and language therapy to students, integrating best practices and evidence-based interventions.
• Evaluate and assess students to determine therapy needs and set appropriate goals.
• Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to support student progress.
• Maintain accurate documentation of student sessions, progress, and evaluations.
• Attend and participate in IEP meetings as needed, contributing expertise to the development of education plans.
• Adapt services to a variety of school environments, managing a dynamic caseload across different campuses.
