Job summary

Soliant Health is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (CCC-SLP) for a contract itinerant role serving high school, middle school, and intermediate school students. The position involves traveling between three school sites and collaborating with general and special education teams.

You will conduct assessments, develop IEPs, document progress, and participate in IEP meetings while staying current with best practices in school-based speech-language pathology.

Qualifications

• CCC-SLP eligibility verified by licensure and ASHA CCC.
• Active Alabama Professional Educator SLP Certificate.
• Experience delivering speech-language services in K-12 settings preferred.
• Ability to travel between three school sites.
• Excellent interpersonal communication, documentation, and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality speech and language therapy services for K-12 students across three schools.
• Conduct assessments, create and implement IEPs, and maintain thorough documentation.
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, staff, and families to support student success and compliance.
• Participate in IEP meetings, eligibility determinations, and team consultations.
• Stay current with best practices and continuing education in the field.
