PRIME AE Group in Allentown, PA, is seeking Transportation Construction Inspectors (TCI I, II, III) to support PennDOT highway and structural projects across Pennsylvania.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in transportation construction inspection (TCI) for highway and/or structure projects preferred.
• NICET/ACI/NECEPT certifications preferred.
• Experience with iPad/Kahua or similar construction documentation system.
• Civil Engineering degree may substitute for TCI experience.
• Working knowledge of PennDOT construction standards and inspection procedures preferred.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Inspect highway and structural construction activities, including paving, structures, drainage, guide rail, MPT, and E&S controls.
• Verify compliance with PennDOT publications and standards.
• Review project plans, specs, and schedules.
• Prepare IDRs and other reports using mobile apps.
• Document progress, materials, and field conditions.
• Communicate with contractors and managers regarding activities.
• Assist overall construction management to ensure on-time, within-spec completion.
