Job summary

Essity North America Inc. in Philadelphia, PA, seeks a Finance Analyst to support Trade Spend, Deductions, and Pricing operations. The role ensures accurate spend tracking, deduction validation, and pricing execution to drive financial discipline and timely reporting.

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years in Finance/FP&A, with strong Excel skills and experience with SAP, TPM and BI tools (Power BI preferred). Collaboration with Sales & Marketing is a key part of this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or Accounting.
• 1-3 years of experience in Finance, FP&A, or Commercial Finance.
• Strong Excel skills; experience with SAP, TPM and BI tools (Power BI preferred).
• Experience in FMCG or commercial finance is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Trade Spend & Deductions Execution: Process and validate customer deductions and claims; root-cause analysis; coordinate resolution with sales partners; track and reconcile spend vs. plans; assist accrual calculations and maintain audit trails.
• Pricing Operations: Execute price list updates; support price increases and promotional pricing; maintain invoice allowances; validate pricing conditions; monitor pricing accuracy.
• Financial Analysis & Reporting: Prepare reports on trade spend performance and deductions trends; variance analysis vs. budget/forecast; assist month-end closing; analyze data for risks and opportunities; maintain reporting tools.
• Business Support: Support Sales & Marketing with data on trade investments and pricing; prepare materials for reviews; collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Process & Data Management: Support continuous improvement; ensure data accuracy across systems; contribute to automation of reporting tools.
