Job summary

The South Carolina DMV is seeking a Titling & Licensing Specialist II at the Aiken DMV Branch Office. You will examine, prepare and process documents for licenses, registrations and titles, while assisting both business customers and the public.

Responsibilities include administering CDL knowledge tests, verifying identity and eligibility, handling fees, and maintaining records. A high school diploma and clerical experience are required, plus background checks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with clerical experience.
• Must complete CDL tester course and examination before certification.
• Nationwide criminal background check with fingerprints.

Responsibilities

• Examine, prepare, enter and print documents for licenses, registrations and titles.
• Work with banks, lienholders and dealerships on licensing issues.
• Process motor vehicle registration requests and issue licenses.
• Verify eligibility according to SC laws and DMV policies.
• Administer knowledge tests for CDL licenses.
