Job summary

The Salvation Army Thrift Store in Clinton Township, MI is seeking a Merchandise Processing Supervisor to oversee the production team, ensure quality and meet daily goals. This full-time role pays $14.73–$17.73 per hour and includes evenings, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.

You’ll lead training, monitor workflows, handle inventory, and support safe store operations. Paid training and ongoing coaching accompany on-the-job development, with opportunities to build retail and customer service

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience following and giving direction in a team setting.
• Strong English communication skills and basic math abilities.
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug test and background check.

Responsibilities

• Direct and ensure daily production tasks for team members and maintain the workspace.
• Train new team members on production expectations and processes.
• Perform quality control inspections to ensure only the best products reach the sales floor.
