Job summary

ProSync Technology Group, LLC (ProSync) is seeking a Mid-Level TEMPEST Engineer to protect sensitive information through TEMPEST and EMSEC programs across mission-critical systems and facilities. The role supports NSA/DoD/IC requirements, accreditation processes, and stakeholder coordination.

The candidate should have 3+ years in TEMPEST/EMSEC, strong analytical skills, and an active Top Secret/SCI clearance with SAR eligibility.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting TEMPEST, EMSEC, and information assurance requirements.
• Familiarity with NSA/DoD/IC TEMPEST guidance and controls.
• Active IAT/IAM Level II certification is required.
• Top Secret/SCI clearance with SAR eligibility is required.
• Understanding of secure facility environments and comms systems.

Responsibilities

• Support TEMPEST and EMSEC programs to protect classified information.
• Conduct TEMPEST assessments, surveys, and inspections of facilities and systems.
• Evaluate systems for NSA/DoD/IC TEMPEST compliance.
• Identify vulnerabilities and propose mitigation strategies.
• Assist design, implementation, and maintenance of EMSEC protections.
• Support accreditation and approval processes for TEMPEST environments.
• Coordinate with engineers, security personnel, and stakeholders on TEMPEST requirements.
• Review architectures to ensure TEMPEST controls are integrated across lifecycles.
• Develop technical documentation, assessment reports, and compliance records.
• Assist investigations involving TEMPEST and EMI concerns.
• Stay updated on TEMPEST policies and emerging technologies.
