Job summary

VOX Global, a strategic communications firm, is seeking a Sustainability Reporting Fellow for a paid, full-time 9-month fellowship based in Washington, DC. The role is hybrid with 3 days in office and 2 days remote, starting in Oct/Nov.

The fellow will support ESG reporting, materiality assessments, and impact storytelling for Fortune 10 to midsized clients. Qualified applicants will have 1+ year of post-undergrad experience in sustainability/ESG, strong writing, and an interest in corporate

Qualifications

• College graduate with at least two prior internships or job positions in communications, sustainability/ESG, public affairs or related fields and/or currently enrolled in/completed a graduate program
• Demonstrated interest in the principles of corporate sustainability, responsibility and ESG
• Long-term project experience, either through coursework or prior career experience
• Excellent research and analytical skills
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Copy editing and proofing abilities
• Data management skills
• Ability to work in a collaborative environment
• Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and workstreams simultaneously
• Experience in or knowledge of sustainability/ESG reporting frameworks and report writing is a plus

Responsibilities

• Support VOX’s Sustainability Strategy and Reporting team in developing ESG reporting strategies and materials
• Craft environmental programming and conduct materiality assessments
• Communicate impact stories for clients across industries
• Collaborate with colleagues and mentors throughout the fellowship
• Participate in professional development training to grow skills
