Kolmac Integrated Behavioral Health and Concerted Care Group seek a SUD Therapist for our Columbia, MD in-person program. The role emphasizes direct patient care, group facilitation, assessments, and collaboration across the treatment team to support recovery.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in counseling, Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy, or related field.
• Credentials (Maryland): CSC-AD, CAC-AD, LGADC, LGPC, LMSW, LCADC, LCSW, or LCSW-C.
• 2+ years of experience in the SUD field (group treatment a plus, not required).
• Strong clinical, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Familiarity with an electronic medical record system.

Responsibilities

• Build genuine, collaborative treatment alliances with patients, adapting to evolving clinical needs.
• Facilitate addiction treatment groups at the IOP and OP levels of care.
• Deliver engaging addiction and recovery education presentations.
• Conduct assessments, case management, discharge planning, and coordinate with referrals.
• Partner with the treatment team to address co-occurring psychiatric needs.
• Complete evaluations for substance use disorders using DSM-5 and ASAM criteria.
• Maintain clear, timely clinical documentation meeting state and CARF standards.
• Track outcomes: retention, attendance, program completion, and treatment goals.
• Share on-call coverage on a rotating basis to support patients in crisis.
• Bring experience in Motivational Interviewing, CBT, and trauma-informed care into practice.
• Represent Kolmac/CCG with professionalism in and out of session.
