Job summary

Kolmac Integrated Behavioral Health in Towson, MD is seeking an experienced SUD OP Evening Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team. You will provide direct patient care, lead recovery education, and participate in case management and discharge planning within IOP and OP settings.

The role requires strong clinical skills, active patient engagement, and experience with EMR systems. A valid license (LGADC/LCADC/LCSW/LMSW/LGPC) is preferred; we offer competitive pay and full benefits.

Qualifications

• Strong clinical, verbal, and writing skills.
• Engaging with patients while maintaining accountability.
• Flexible and creative team player.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in the SUD field.
• Experience with electronic medical records.
• Knowledgeable in recovery modalities (SMART Recovery, Women for Sobriety, 12-Step, Recovery Dharma).
• If in recovery, minimum three years sobriety; five years preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develops a treatment alliance with patients that is mutual and individualized.
• Facilitates addiction treatment groups in IOP and OP levels of care.
• Prepares and presents addiction/recovery education.
• Engages in case management including assessments and discharge planning.
• Promotes the organization’s image in a positive and professional manner.
• Provide direct care up to 55% of weekly hours, depending on program.
