Job summary

Sojourn at Seneca Behavioral Hospital in Ohio is seeking a dedicated Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) for its new SUD Unit opening this Spring. You will help maintain a safe, supportive environment and guide clients on their path to wellness.

Key duties include conducting clinical and housing intakes, orienting clients to the facility, serving as a role model, and supporting the 12 Step program, while practicing room and bag searches as needed. In-person work.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year behavioral health experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct clinical and housing intakes for new clients.
• Orient new clients to the facility and residential areas.
• Be a role model and advocate ensuring client well-being and safety.
• Adapt to a dynamic work environment and new challenges.
• Support clients on their journey through the 12 Step Program.
• Perform room and bag searches as needed.
