Job summary

Sojourn at Seneca's new SUD Unit is opening this Spring. We are seeking a Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) to support clients in a safe, compassionate detox setting in Seneca County, Ohio.

You will conduct intakes, orient residents to the facility, model positive behavior, advocate for safety, and support the 12 Step program while adapting to a dynamic environment. This is an in-person role with benefits provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct clinical and housing intakes, providing a smooth and welcoming experience for new clients
• Seamlessly orient new clients to the facility and residential areas, making them feel at home
• Be a role model and advocate for clients, ensuring their well-being and safety
• Adapt and thrive in a dynamic work environment, always ready for new challenges
• Share the power of the 12 Step Program, supporting clients on their transformative journeys
• Demonstrate expertise in executing room and bag searches
