Job summary

College of Lake County is seeking a Student Organization Outreach & Program Coordinator to develop and oversee co-curricular activities, multicultural programs, and leadership opportunities for students. You will collaborate with faculty and staff to integrate IDEA concepts into the campus experience and support diverse learners.

The role focuses on event planning, student club support, and program assessment, with a 40-hour work week and a starting salary aligned to the posted figure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and two years of prior work experience in student affairs or related field.
• Ability to engage diverse student populations and support first-generation/low-income students.
• Strong communication and organizational skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate welcoming events and manage student clubs and organizations.
• Facilitate partnerships between Student Activities and Inclusion and classroom instruction.
• Develop assessment techniques to track participant progress and recommend program improvements.
• Create and implement IDEA workshops and related resources for campus initiatives.
