Job summary

UMass Chan Medical School is seeking an Operations Specialist II in the Bursar's Office to manage the full cycle of student financial operations including tuition/fees setup, billing, financial aid posting, 1098-T reporting, SHIP enrollment, and reconciliations.

Under supervision, the role supports customer service for SF questions, payment processing, treasury tasks, PCI coordination, and data integrity across PSCS and related systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field required.
• Experience with full cycle student financial activities.
• Proficiency in PSCS and financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Manage full cycle student financial activities across academic year.
• Prepare tuition/fee rates and billings for programs.
• Post financial aid, process payments, and reconcile receivables.
• Support 1098-T reporting and SHIP enrollment/waivers.
• Provide customer service on SF questions and issues.
• Coordinate PCI/compliance efforts and treasury tasks.
