Job summary

GRW Engineers, Inc. is seeking an experienced Structural Revit BIM Modeler / CADD Technician to join our Lexington, KY headquarters.

This role supports PMs and engineers by modeling and drafting code-specific, structurally sound designs for diverse facilities in a collaborative, multi-disciplinary environment. The ideal candidate has at least 2+ years of Revit BIM modeling and CADD experience, with strong Revit/AutoCAD skills and familiarity with BricsCAD or MicroStation being a plus.

Qualifications

• 2+ years structural Revit BIM modeling / CADD experience in the consulting engineering business.
• Current Revit and AutoCAD expertise.
• BricsCAD drafting knowledge highly desirable.
• Microstation drafting knowledge desirable.
• Experience producing structural construction documents in 2D & 3D with schedules.
• Knowledge of BIM and National CAD standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist project managers and engineers with modeling and drafting of code-specific and structurally sound designs for commercial, heavy industrial, institutional, and water/wastewater facilities.
• Apply multidisciplinary design team expertise to deliver projects that are structurally sound and mechanically complete.
