Job summary

Galileo Learning in the Bay Area seeks a Curriculum Developer to design STEAM projects and curate instructional materials for Camp Galileo and Galileo X Solutions. You will shepherd ideas from prototype through testing to facilitation guides and train instructors when needed.

You will work with Educational Product and Supply Chain teams in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, bringing big-picture thinking and attention to detail to life.

Qualifications

• 3+ years designing hands-on activities in educational settings.
• Experience creating multimedia content, including basic photography and video production.
• Understanding of K-8 enrichment environments and educator needs.
• Proven track record bringing STEAM project ideas to life.
• Experience meeting regular deadlines in a fast-paced production environment.
• Clear instructional materials and effective communication of ideas.

Responsibilities

• Dream up, tinker, and perfect hands-on STEAM projects that inspire kids and differentiate Galileo programs.
• Test activities in classroom settings to refine pacing and ensure age-appropriate techniques.
• Specify materials for each project and collaborate with Supply Chain to approve samples and meet constraints.
• Create multimedia facilitation guides grounded in the Galileo Innovation Approach.
• Design and sometimes deliver instructor training to boost program delivery.
• Observe programs in the field and convert findings into actionable enhancements.
