Job summary

Galileo Learning seeks a Curriculum Developer to design imagination-sparking STEAM projects and curriculum, taking ideas from prototype to facilitation guides and instructor training.

Based in the Bay Area, this full-time role sits on the Educational Product team and collaborates with Supply Chain to curate materials. The role emphasizes iterative, feedback-driven design and the delivery of instructional content used by thousands of educators and students.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in education, art and design, engineering, or related fields.
• 3+ years in educational settings designing hands-on activities.
• Experience creating multimedia content (photo/video).
• Understanding of K-8 enrichment environments and educator needs.
• A deep well of STEAM project ideas with a track record of bringing ideas to life.
• Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced production environment.

Responsibilities

• Design and refine hands-on STEAM projects that inspire kids and differentiate Galileo programs.
• Test activities in classroom settings to refine pacing and ensure age-appropriate building techniques.
• Specify materials down to quantities and collaborate with Supply Chain to approve samples.
• Create clear, multimedia facilitation guides to support instructors.
• Design and sometimes deliver instructor training to build program excitement and fidelity.
• Observe programs in the field and translate feedback into product improvements.
• Support Educational Product priorities and expand into new design areas.
