Job summary

Qualifications

• Licensed Speech Therapist in the state of residence.
• Current CPR certification.
• Current driver's license, vehicle insurance, and access to dependable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Provides speech therapy services within the scope of practice and in coordination with the health care team.
• Evaluates function and assists in developing the therapy plan of care.
• Treats patients to improve communication, swallowing, and cognitive functions.
• Observes and reports progress to supervising nurse/physician and updates care plan as needed.
• Educates patient, family and caregivers in speech therapy techniques to support treatment.
