Job summary

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital seeks a Speech Pathologist to evaluate and treat patients with speech and language disorders within an inpatient rehabilitation setting.

You will develop individualized treatment plans, monitor progress, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to achieve meaningful patient outcomes. The role emphasizes compassionate care, ongoing education, and career growth within a national organization.

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification is required by state regulations.
• CCC certification completed or in good standing.
• CPR certification is required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Master’s degree preferred, or a Bachelor’s degree with related field experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, assess, develop, and administer personalized treatment plans for patients with speech and language rehabilitation needs.
• Identify issues and modify speech therapy treatment as necessary.
• Track and document patient performance, progress, and response to treatment.
• Celebrate patient victories along the way.
